Praia da Nazaré, as an accessible beach, awarded year after year, follows a set of rules and requirements necessary for this, offering different services and infrastructures to welcome all those who decide to visit us.

However, in addition to the mandatory requirements that the beach must comply with, there are a number of good practices that, although not mandatory, undoubtedly improve the conditions for people with reduced mobility to enjoy the beach, such as the amphibious chair called “Tiralô”.

The “Tiralô” amphibious chair at Praia da Nazaré is a valuable solution for people with reduced mobility and very useful for making the most of our beach. Its main features are:

  • Safe bathing access, allowing the user and carer to move around the beach and bathe safely.
  • Adequate buoyancy, with side buoys to provide effective buoyancy in the water.
  • Sturdy, detachable structure.
